We are a little behind with our posts due to, well life. We had a big move from Alabama to Missouri last summer and then I started homeschooling our younger boys. Our oldest boy graduated Air Force Basic Training!!! So much happened in 2020. We are now setup and back online and ready to talk about some of the resorts we traveled to during the last half of 2020. The first one being, Emerald Beach RV Park (https://www.emeraldbeachrvpark.com/) in Navarre, Florida. It is ranked in the top RV parks for all of Florida and we were lucky enough to grab a spot on short notice!
The staff were so amazing and friendly as we pulled in to check in and move to our spot for the weekend. There was shade, full hookups, and a picnic table. Our spot was a pull-through site which is a bonus for short stays. As everyone else is experiencing COVID time is strange and has limited what is allowed to be open and functioning. Normally, there would be a restaurant and bar to eat and enjoy some beverages on their private beach, but it was just the beach time that was enjoyed during our stay because those things were closed. You can rent kayaks and paddle boards to enjoy from the main office at the RV park, and to the beach and relax on the water!
The resort is really close to lots of restaurants, beaches, family activities, grocery stores, gas stations, and is easy to find!
It was a nice time to have a mini getaway and catch up with friends before we headed north for our move to Missouri. We will be back!
